[There's a really good question that Peter needs to ask himself. What bad guy hit him hard enough to knock him out and throw him all the way into Central Park? Trees and grass shouldn't have hurt so hard to make his back hurt. Okay, maybe trees. But still, it wasn't like he was slammed into another brick wall. No, it was just a really dense looking forest that definitely didn't look like it would be Central Park. That's weird. Maybe Mysterio had something to do with this. Not sure how the guy could get the jump on him like this, though.
But it seemed like he was at least hit hard enough that his clothes were knocked off. How can you even hit a guy in a skin tight costume that hard? Well, it explains how he would have gotten to a place with a ton of trees. Not good. He might actually be injured now--
Or he could have wings on his back.]
[Voice]
[After figuring some things out and realizing that the journal actually... talks, Peter can be seen walking into the village while wearing the New Feather pants. While wandering aimlessly and looking worried, he's flipping through his journal until he figures out how to use it.]
This on? [Seems like it.] Quick show of hands. Who else is creeped out by the talking book?
[Yeah. Let's keep wandering around this weird village until someone helps him, or he finds someone he recognizes. He hope everyone is alright.]

Really. A lot's happened, though... I'm kind of from the future. Where I'm from, you've been Spider-Man for years.
[Action]
But he kept on trucking. It's important to know this, and relieving. But at the same time, what kind of stress and awful things must have happened between now and where Billy was from. How long was "years" anyway?]
I guess the cat's out of the bag, huh? Didn't think I'd actually tell anyone, but hey, can't deny the proof.
[Action]
[And he still finds it about as confusing as it sounds.]
[Action]
[The breaks in sentence we more than necessary to both absorb what the heck Billy just said. And to emphasis how complicated and weird that sounds. It wasn't like Peter could doubt him, either. He knew he was Spider-Man, and he was a superhero too. There's bound to be truth in it, even if he didn't want to believe it.
He guesses that's the scientist in him.] Let's just try and keep it simple. Can we just assume we're from the same, uh... universe, until we're proved otherwise?
[Action]
[Billy shrugs his shoulders; truth be told, the alternate universes confuse the hell out of him, too. And he's kind of happy to think that maybe he could have a familiar face from his own universe, even if it's someone who doesn't know him.]
And I won't tell anyone else who you are, either, if you don't want it getting out.
[Action]
Definitely don't want the news getting loose. Just in case, you know?
[Action]

[Action]
[This is kind of fun, actually. Like being with the Young Avengers again. It's refreshing, after being surrounded by so many adults.]
[Action]
I'd, uh... join you in costume, but I'm used to it being under my clothes. Not so much changing into it.
[Action]
[Action]
[Oh, right. Let's grab some whatever clothes that look like they'll fit. Billy had a really good point.]
[Action]
[He'd gotten one of Teddy's sweaters out of the deal, though.]
[Action]
[Being naked in front of everyone at Midtown High sounded just as bad. Kind of weird to compare the two like that.]
[Action]
[That would be the ultimate form of shame, in his mind.]
[Action]
[Grabbing a few shirts and some jeans. And maybe running a hand though his hair to appreciate it a little more.]
Is... catching on fire something that can happen with any of your powers?
[Action]
[Action]
Gotta say that I'm pretty glad I got what I got. Probably a lot more friendly to the beginner.
[Action]
[Because he definitely flew into a wall or two during practice.]
[Action]
[Action]
[HE AIN'T BUYING IT, BRO]
[Action]
[Action]
[He won't pry, though, because his imagination can come up with plenty of scenarios to fill in the gaps. Instead he gives Peter a little prod towards the changing room.]
Come on, go get dressed before we both starve to death.
[Action]
[Slinging the clothes he picked out of his shoulder (and the costume), Peter nods and heads into the changing room. A moment later, he emerges in a long-sleeved shirt and jeans.
Not the best choice for this time of year, but it covers up the costume underneath.] I could get used to free clothes.
[Action]
[He gives Peter a quick once over, then nods, gesturing for the door.]
Honestly, it doesn't take that long to get used to most of this place. It only gets really weird when the experiments start up.
